Statement
In this time of world struggles for existence, I hold to a story about the multitude of animal species that live well sharing a single acre in Africa. They thrive at different levels on the same piece of land.
In looking at my work you would see a great deal of diversity. In my mind, you are looking at “our world” and it is all one. My curiosity to know life in our time brings me from the smallest detail to the grandest architectural feat and still, it is “our world” and a wonder.
So many parallel universes existing in one place — I am intrigued by the co-existence. My efforts to show this shared universe is demonstrated by the pinhole outdoor projections on trees or the Journey Series. In addition, the details are cherished, as they are the basis of the whole.
